Thematic Network for Translational Research in Puberty
(ReTIT-PUB)
A national excellence network that integrates basic and clinical research in puberty.
What is ReTIT-PUB?
ReTIT-PUB is the first national thematic network dedicated to translational research in puberty. It is composed of 15 leading research groups in Spain that integrate basic, clinical, and multidisciplinary approaches to advance the understanding of the mechanisms that regulate puberty and its disorders.

Objective and Mission
A network with a collaborative and translational vocation.
Our mission is to strengthen collaboration among leading national groups in puberty research, generate synergies, share resources, and enhance international visibility.
Through our specific objectives, we promote scientific activities, training, outreach, and support for clinical and preclinical research.

Working Groups
The network is structured into five thematic working groups (GT), each with a key focus for addressing the multiple factors involved in puberty.
GT-1
Genetic determinants of puberty
Lead: Jesús Argente
GT-2
Clinical studies on normal and disordered puberty
Lead: Lourdes Ibáñez
GT-3
Preclinical models for the study of puberty
Lead: María Domínguez
GT-4
Multi-omics and bioinformatic analysis
Leads: Concepción Aguilera and Mario Fernández-Fraga
GT-5
Mobility, training and outreach programme
Leads: Abel López Bermejo y Javier Morante
Network Members
More than 150 researchers from universities, hospitals, and centres of excellence are part of ReTIT-PUB. Their expertise ranges from paediatric endocrinology to cutting-edge omics analysis.
